This past week Uncle Stephen and Aunt Shara visited. It was great to be with them and the boys especially enjoyed the extra attention. After observation, it is obvious that Aunt Shara is the overall "favorite". Stephen comes in a close second as he is really good at wrestling with the boys. One night Aunt Shara sat on the couch and helped Karl write his own rhyming poems. Here is what he came up with.
Silly Poem
I know a shark
Who likes to eat bark.
He has a big head
And his head is a bed.
The bed eats the chair
And there's a big mean bear.
I see a tree,
But it's actually a bee.
The car is actually a bar
And it is really far.
I see a shark! Oh it's actually a fish.
The fish is actually a dish.
Ocean Stew
The plankton
Tastes like bacon.
The shark
Is actually bark.
I see a buna.
Oops! It's actually a tuna.
The clam
Shuts with a bam!
The swordfish
Eats the bored fish.
